2008 RESERVE SHIRAZ Awarded in the Top 5 Shiraz Australia & New Zealand (Winestate 2010) and the honour of being chosen to exhibit at Vinitaly 2011. Very dark, black cherry red in colour with a nose that is rich in black plum and blackberry fruit. On the palate the wine displays medium acidity, is medium plus, bodied with spicy layers of black fruit and mouth filling ripe tannins. Secondary layers of vanilla, cedar and coconut integrate well with the rich layers of fruit. This is a fine quality shiraz which can be enjoyed now but will continue to age effortlessly over the next 4-5 years. Retail $38.00 Members $31.60   |
